TalkrTape® is a completely customizable polyethylene tape – the same type of caution or barricade tape used at construction sites and emergency scenes. Get creative, and hang it at personal or professional events, gag gifts, parties, or job sites. Create a custom message barrier zone at a music festival; or print a birthday message and obnoxiously wrap it around a coworker’s desk a dozen times!

TalkrTape® is the same tape used most commonly in construction zones and emergency scenes. Polyethylene tape is waterproof, resists degradation from UV exposure, and resists harsh weather conditions. It’s easily cleaned and reusable and markable with reusable or permanent markers. TalkrTape® is made and printed in the USA!

TalkrTape® has so many color options! Not sure which color to get? Try a sample of Horizontal or Vertical tape!

TalkrTape® warrants that the work will be as described in your order. The tape design on the website is an approximation of what your tape will look like. When you select ‘Yes’ for a Photo Proof, TalkrTape will print a sample, photograph it and send you a photo proof of your order for your approval – you will have the option of choosing text or email.

You can add clipart, logos, and even QR codes to your custom message tape! We can print black line art in either a .png or .jpg format. Just upload it when you create your tape design. Please send detailed instructions as to placement of your line art on your message tape. A large file size will assure a crisp image; transparent background preferred. We will contact you if there will be additional design assistance required.

If your artwork is a .pdf format, please email it to us separately at info@TalkrTape.com with your order number, contact information, and instructions.

Orders are considered “APPROVED” and are put into production ONLY when the following four conditions have been met:

  • An ORDER FORM has been completely filled out.
  • All files have been correctly submitted.
  • The customer has approved the online proof or the hard copy proof (if one was requested) and has given the go-ahead to proceed with production.
  • Payment information has been provided.
  • If a hard copy proof is requested, it must be signed and returned, in addition to the conditions above in order for a job to be considered “APPROVED”.

After the initial order is placed and your files have been successfully either uploaded, emailed, or snail-mailed, your files will be reviewed for issues that would prevent the job from being printed, such as resolution. We prefer larger images that are best for viewing as they can be adjusted more easily for crisp prints on the tape. If there are issues, you will be notified and a one-time design assistance fee per job of $10 may be added to your order. This fee will not be charged on subsequent re-orders of the same job.

When placing your order, please review your text message and design carefully. Custom orders are non-refundable and generally non-returnable. Contact us directly if you have any questions about your tape design before we print it.

You may request an online photo proof when you place your order. You must approve the photo proof and provide payment before we continue production. This is your last chance to make any changes!

If the approved tape photo proof doesn’t match the tape you receive, please contact us directly and we will make it right.

No opinions regarding the artistic quality of the job will be rendered (for example does the job look good, are the colors used clashing with each other, is font type too big or too small, etc.). Consider ordering sample tape first in horizontal or vertical.

Please note that TalkrTape® does not print or ship on weekends, or US-observed holidays. We operate on Eastern Standard time.

Orders are normally fulfilled within 2 business days and are shipped promptly. Custom orders that require design assistance can take up to 10 business days to process before shipping.

Although we rarely miss production schedules, the printing and pre-press process involves equipment which is subject to malfunctions and/or equipment failure. We will always do everything in our power to make sure that any production problems do not delay your job. However, please note that all production and delivery times are not contractual, and no turnaround time can be guaranteed. No verbal or written correspondence by anyone at TalkrTape® can change that. Please try to plan date-sensitive materials timely.

When placing your order, please review your shipping address carefully. Any shipping fees charged to the customer are non-refundable.

  • We ship to Alaska and Hawaii, and the rest of the 48 contiguous States, too.
  • Orders are normally fulfilled within 2 business days and are shipped promptly.
  • USPS Priority will normally be received in 2-3 days; USPS standard will normally be received in 5-7 days.
  • Orders are shipped by the carrier of our choice (usually USPS) and can take up to two weeks for delivery.
  • Custom orders that require design assistance can take up to 10 business days to process before shipping.
  • Once your order ships, you will receive an automated email with tracking information.

During our busy holiday season, we try our best to assure your order will arrive on time, but due to high volume and unexpected circumstances beyond our control there might be a slight delay in delivery of your order. Understandably, no refunds can be issued for orders delayed due to adverse weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstance that may affect TalkrTape.com or any of our carriers. Thank you for understanding.

How do I file a claim for my lost, stolen or damaged order?

If you insured your order with Route+ at checkout, you will receive a confirmation email from Route with a link to file a claim. You can also file a claim here: https://claims.route.com/.

Note: Make sure to have the Order ID we sent you or the Route Order ID ready to use with the claim form.

Does Route+ cover stolen items?

Yes! When you insure your orders with Route+, stolen items are eligible for reorders or refunds.

Is Route a licensed insurance company?

Yes. Route is a licensed insurance company with the biggest name in shipping insurance as its partner, Lloyds of London.

We do not ship internationally. However, international customers may register and arrange for package forwarding with sites such as: https://www.parcl.com or https://opas.com.nderstanding.

TalkrTape® is not responsible for lost or returned items/packages due to address errors. If you do not receive your package, please contact the shipping provider or check with your local post office. If your think your package is lost, please contact info@TalkrTape.com with your order number so we may investigate and determine if the package can be retrieved or found. If the package cannot be found, we will create a case with the shipping company; this process can take 2-3 weeks once it is reported to us.

We make our custom caution tape fast and letter-perfect — we guarantee it! We inspect every item again for quality and accuracy before it ships to you or someone special. We guarantee our custom message tape to be free of manufacturing errors or product defects.

If there is a quality issue with your order, you may return it in new condition and in its original packaging for a prompt exchange for the same item, or immediate full refund. Understandably, custom caution tapes cannot be accepted for return, unless there is a manufacturing error or product defect.

  • Customers must notify TalkrTape® within 10 days of the order delivery date to report any defects discovered in the ordered product.
  • 100% of the product must be returned to TalkrTape®.
  • Should the claim be approved by TalkrTape®, a refund will be issued, or a free reprint will be shipped to the customer using the original shipping method.
  • All complaints must be originated with an email sent to info@TalkrTape.com describing the nature of the defect and including photos showing the defect.
  • All orders must be returned to TalkrTape® within 7 days after the claim is approved by TalkrTape® in order to qualify for a refund or free reprint.

We want your order to be made just the way you want it! We understand that everyone makes mistakes (including us!) Please review your personalization information before submitting your order. Check spelling, dates and names carefully. Request a photo proof for your final approval! Understandably, we are not able to accept cancellations or changes to orders once they are placed and approved, as they immediately are sent into production.

NOTE: TalkrTape® also reserves the right to cancel your order at its discretion should the order be deemed inappropriate for language, content, or material. Any messages/orders that promote/pertain to violence/hate speech/profanity/personal information/abuse may be canceled and refused.
