Orders, Shipping, and Returns

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with TalkrTape®.
We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per business or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address.

In the event we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.

We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by unauthorized re sellers or distributors.

Production
Please note that TalkrTape® does not print or ship on weekends or US-observed holidays.

We operate on Eastern Standard time.

Tape is made and printed in the USA.

When placing your order, please review your text message and design carefully. Custom orders are non-refundable and generally non-returnable. Contact us directly if you have any questions about your tape design before we print it.

If the approved tape photo proof doesn’t match the tape you receive, please contact us directly and we will make it right.

Orders are normally fulfilled within 2 business days and are shipped promptly.
Custom orders that require design assistance can take up to 10 business days to process before shipping.

Our posted turnaround times begin ONLY after an order has been “APPROVED”. Orders are considered “APPROVED” and are put into production ONLY when the following four conditions have been met:

• An ORDER FORM has been completely filled out,
• All files have been correctly submitted,
• The customer has approved the online proof or the hard copy proof (if one was requested) and has given the go ahead to proceed with production, and
• Payment information has been provided.
• If a hard copy proof is requested, it must be signed and returned, in addition to the conditions above in order for a job to be considered “APPROVED”.

After the initial order is placed and your files have been successfully either uploaded, emailed, or snail-mailed, your files will be reviewed for issues that would prevent the job from being printed, such as resolution. If there are issues, you will be notified and a one-time design assistance fee per job of $10 may be added to your order. This fee will not be charged on subsequent re-orders of the same job.

No opinions regarding the artistic quality of the job will be rendered (for example does the job look good, are the colors used clashing with each other, is type too big or too small, etc.).
You may request an online photo proof when you place your order. You must approve the photo proof and provide payment before we continue production.

Once payment information is received and an order enters production, cancellations cannot be accepted. There are also no refunds or returns after this point.

Although we rarely miss production schedules, the printing and pre-press process involves equipment which is subject to malfunctions and/or equipment failure. We will always do everything in our power to make sure that any production problems do not delay your job. However, please note that all production and delivery times are not contractual, and no turnaround time can be guaranteed. No verbal or written correspondence by anyone at TalkrTape® can change that. Please try to plan date sensitive materials timely.

Shipping
When placing your order, please review your shipping address carefully. Shipping fees are non-refundable. TalkrTape® is not responsible for lost or returned items/packages due to address errors. If you do not receive your package, please contact the shipping provider or check with your local post office. If your think your package is lost, please contact info@TalkrTape.com with your order number so we may investigate and determine if the package can be retrieved or found. If the package cannot be found, we will create a case with the shipping company; this process can take 2-3 weeks once it is reported to us.

• We ship to Alaska and Hawaii, and the rest of the 48 contiguous States, too.
• Orders are normally fulfilled within 2 business days and are shipped promptly.
• USPS Priority will normally be received in 2-3 days; USPS standard will normally be received in 5-7 days.
• Orders are shipped by the carrier of our choice (usually USPS) and can take up to two weeks for delivery.
• Custom orders that require design assistance can take up to 10 business days to process before shipping.
• Once your order ships, you will receive an automated email with tracking information.

During our busy holiday season, we try our best to assure your order will arrive on time, but due to high volume and unexpected circumstances beyond our control there might be a slight delay in delivery of your order. Understandably, no refunds can be issued for orders delayed due to adverse weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstance that may affect TalkrTape.com or any of our carriers. Thank you for understanding.

Guarantee, Returns and Reprints
We make our custom caution tape fast and letter-perfect — we guarantee it! We inspect every item again for quality and accuracy before it ships to you or someone special. We guarantee our custom message tape to be free of manufacturing errors or product defects. If there is a quality issue with your order, you may return it in new condition and in its original packaging for a prompt exchange for the same item, or immediate full refund. Understandably, custom caution tapes cannot be accepted for return, unless there is a manufacturing error or product defect. All refunds and exchanges must be completed within 30 days of receipt.

• Customers must notify TalkrTape® within 10 days of the order delivery date to report any defects discovered in the ordered product.
• 100% of the product must be returned to TalkrTape®.
• Should the claim be approved by TalkrTape®, a refund will be issued, or a free reprint will be shipped to the customer using the original shipping method.
• All complaints must be originated with an email sent to info@TalkrTape.com describing the nature of the defect and including photos showing the defect.
• All orders must be returned to TalkrTape® within 10 days after the claim is approved by TalkrTape® in order to qualify for a refund or free reprint.

We want your order to be made just the way you want it! We understand that everyone makes mistakes (including us!) Please review your personalization information before submitting your order. Check spelling, dates and names carefully. You are welcome to email us at info@TalkrTape.com if you have questions about customization, before placing your order. Understandably, we are not able to accept cancellations or changes to orders once they are placed, as they immediately are sent into production.

NOTE: TalkrTape® also reserves the right to cancel your order at its discretion should the order be deemed inappropriate for language, content or material.

Liability
Disclaimer of Express Warranties
TalkrTape® warrants that the work is as described in the Customer’s order. The Customer understands that all preparatory work shown to the Customer are intended only to illustrate the general type and quality of the work. They are not intended to represent the actual work performed.

Disclaimer of Implied Warranties
TalkrTape® warrants only that the work will conform to the description contained in the Customer’s order. TalkrTape®‘s maximum liability, whether by negligence, contract, or otherwise, will not exceed the return of the amount invoiced for the work in dispute. Under no circumstances will TalkrTape® be liable for specific, individual, or consequential damages.

Indemnification
The Customer agrees to protect TalkrTape® from economic loss and any other harmful consequences that could arise in connection with the work. This means that the customer will hold TalkrTape® harmless and save, indemnify, and otherwise defend him/her against claims, demands, actions, and proceedings on any and all grounds. This will apply regardless of responsibility for negligence.

Copyrights
The Customer also warrants that the subject matter to be printed is not copyrighted by a third party. The customer also recognizes that because subject matter does not have to bear a copyright notice in order to be protected by copyright law, absence of such notice does not necessarily assure a right to reproduce. The customer further warrants that no copyright notice has been removed from any material used in preparing the subject matter for reproduction. To support these warranties, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold TalkrTape® harmless for all liability, damages, and attorney fees that may be incurred in any legal action connected with copyright infringement involving the work produced or provided.

Personal or economic rights
The Customer also warrants that the work does not contain anything that is libelous or scandalous, or anything that threatens anyone’s right to privacy or other personal or economic rights. The Customer will, at the Customer’s sole expense, promptly and thoroughly defend TalkrTape® in all legal actions on these grounds as long as TalkrTape® promptly notifies the customer of the legal action and gives the customer reasonable time to undertake and conduct a defense. TalkrTape® reserves the right to use their sole discretion in refusing to print anything deemed illegal, libelous, scandalous, improper or infringing upon copyright law.

Taxes
All amounts due for taxes and assessments will be added to the Customer’s invoice and are the responsibility of the Customer. No tax exemption will be granted unless the Customer’s “Exemption Certificate” (or other official proof of exemption) accompanies the order. If, after the Customer has paid the invoice, it is determined that more tax is due, then the Customer must promptly remit the required taxes to the taxing authority, or immediately reimburse the provider for any additional taxes paid.
